The EU Commission has updated the timelines for the EUDAMED modules. A significant milestone is the announcement of the finalization in the EU Official Journal for the "Actor", "UDI/Devices", "Notified Bodies & Certificates" and "Market Surveillance" modules in July 2025.
The finalization and announcement of the vigilance module in the EU Official Journal is planned for January 2026. According to Article 123 (d) of Regulation (EU) 2017/745 (MDR), manufacturers must have completed the implementation of the listed obligations and requirements relating to EUDAMED within a maximum of 18 months of this announcement, i.e. by July 2027 at the latest.
